We dressed up in our festive outfits to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

4th Class were busy baking Christmas puddings as part of our Advent calendar. We dipped chocolate biscuits into white chocolate and created holly using icing. They tasted delicious!

As we prepared to finish up for midterm break, 4th Class celebrated Halloween with lots of games and festive activities! We drew pumpkins on paper plates without looking, created spooky hands filled with treats, pinned the face on the pumpkin, had a dance party and finished up with a Halloween treasure hunt!

To get in the festive spirit of Halloween, 4th Class designed spooky bunting to decorate the classroom!

As we transitioned from summer to autumn, 4th Class created beautiful autumnal scenes. We were each given half an image and had to complete the other side. These pieces turned out wonderful!

We were lucky enough to have the opportunity of attending tennis lessons in St. Annes Park for the second year in a row. We had a great time learning different ball-handling and co-ordination skills. There are definitely some up and coming sports stars in fourth class!

At the beginning of the year, we created jigsaw pieces. We each had to draw different images that represented us. We then discussed how although each and every one of us is unique, we all fit together as one, similar to pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. This display promoted discussions around individuality, along with respecting each other and working together as a class.
